There is no clear story in this game, but it is fairly easy to understand that the game takes place during a zombie apocalypse, and the remaining humans are trying to survive against zombie attacks. The player will control two characters, a male and a female, and can play as both of them interchangeably. These two individuals live on top of a skyscraper building, and their daily routine revolves around killing zombies to survive. They have enough supplies on the rooftop for their daily activities, such as a sofa for sleeping, various entertainment options, a computer, and a map to receive missions. The conditions are quite realistic but also terrifying. The zombie massacres always start with a mission that the player can choose from a table with a large map on it. The missions themselves are varied and exciting, ranging from building barricades to retrieving supplies dropped by helicopters and several other missions. More challenging and aggressive zombie bosses can be encountered in the Beast missions. In each mission, the player is provided with limited ammo, unless they install a game mod that provides unlimited ammo.
