Life is A Game Reviews in 2026 Simulation 8 bit pixel game

At first glance, this game looked pretty average. The title didn't really catch my attention, and honestly, the graphics didn't make me want to try it, let alone actually play it. The gameplay also seemed like nothing more than another endless runner. That was my first impression.

After downloading it, I just left it sitting on my phone for a few days. Then, for some reason, I finally installed it. Maybe because I was bored during yesterday's power outage.

My first few runs felt pretty normal since I didn't really understand how the gameplay worked yet. But somehow, I kept wanting to play more. I got curious... and eventually started enjoying it. The best part is that there are so many possible outcomes. Some happen because of the choices you make during the game, while others seem completely random. It's one of those games that can easily make you lose track of time.

The gameplay itself is actually pretty simple. Your character automatically moves from left to right, living an entire life—from being a baby, growing up, getting old, and eventually dying. The interesting part is the journey. When I first started playing, a lot of things felt random and unexpected. But after spending more time with the game, I finally figured out the trick. Most outcomes can actually be influenced by the decisions you make throughout your life. Unfortunately, my uploaded gameplay record was from when I had just started playing, so it's not exactly my best run. 😆

Once you understand how everything works, it's actually pretty easy to become rich and die happily in this game. The challenge—and the fun—comes from not knowing how the mechanics work at first. Everything feels random, making you think it's all about luck, which keeps you curious and wanting to play again.

As always, I'm sharing the modded version of the game. This one comes with a Money Mod. Instead of spending money when you buy something, your money actually increases. The only limitation is that you still can't purchase items that cost more than the amount you currently have. Don't worry though—the mod doesn't ruin the gameplay at all. If anything, it makes it even more fun because you can unlock tons of extra content, like new vehicles, different baby types, and plenty of other cool stuff.
