Greak : Memories of Azur Reviews Mobile Android Game platformer in 2025 Size 700mb

Greak: Memories of Azur is all about three siblings from the Courine race — Greak, Adara, and Raydel — trying to escape their homeland, Azur, after it gets wrecked by the Urlag invasion. The story’s told through gorgeous hand-drawn cutscenes and chill dialogue, with a big focus on family, unity, and being brave when everything’s falling apart. It’s not some deep, mind-blowing plot, but it hits you emotionally and slowly builds up through world exploration, NPC chats, and quests.

Gameplay

Greak mixes classic platforming action with puzzle-solving and Metroidvania-style exploration. One of the coolest parts? You can switch between the three characters — each with their own unique abilities. Greak's the nimble one with quick strikes, Adara's got floaty magic vibes, and Raydel’s the tanky dude with brute strength and a shield.

You’ll run into puzzles and fights that need two or even all three of them working together. But fair warning: controlling multiple characters at once can get a little tricky, especially when things get hectic in battle. You’ll need good timing and some practice to nail it.

Genre

It’s an action-adventure game with platformer mechanics and light Metroidvania elements. Think semi-open world exploration, unlocking new zones with new powers, and combat that makes you think as a team.

Level Design

Level design in Greak is super clean but still feels organic. Every area has its own unique vibe, packed with platforming challenges and puzzles that need sharp thinking. There's a ton of hidden paths and secrets to find, so it definitely rewards curiosity.

Most puzzles are all about teamwork — like hitting switches in different spots at the same time. One downside though: no fast travel. So backtracking can get kinda annoying later on.

Graphics & Audio

The art is next-level. Everything’s hand-drawn — from the backgrounds to the characters — and it legit looks like a moving painting. Cutscenes are animated like a short film, adding real emotional punch to the story.

The music? Orchestral and moody. It sets the tone perfectly — chill and calming during exploration, then ramps up the drama in battles. Together, the visuals and sound create a super immersive vibe.

Difficulty

Overall, the game’s got a solid challenge — not unfair, but it’ll keep you on your toes. The biggest hurdles are the multi-character controls (especially in fast fights), no autosave/checkpoints (so fail and you might have to redo a bunch), and some iffy AI when the other characters aren’t being directly controlled. But if you’re into strategy-based gameplay and love character synergy, you’ll find a lot to enjoy here.

REQUIRED: Android OS 5.1 and up
