You play as this girl, Elena Elkhorn, who's out looking for her missing dad in this super creepy old mansion. One of the coolest things about the game? Elena can literally leave her body and float around as a ghost. Yup — full-on astral projection vibes. In spirit form, you can chat with ghosts, solve puzzles, and get into places her regular body can’t reach.
The gameplay’s all about exploring and solving puzzles — no fighting, no jump scares, just figuring stuff out, finding clues, collecting items, and talking to ghosts to unlock new areas. It's more spooky-vibes than heart-pounding horror, and the puzzles are logical and pretty chill, not too brain-melty.
Story
The story's super intriguing and full of mystery. The mansion is packed with ghosts, each with their own tragic backstory. As you talk to them, you slowly start to piece together the dark history of the place and what Elena’s dad has to do with it all. There’s a heavy supernatural vibe — like, lots of spirits and dimension-hopping — and the plot keeps pulling you in ‘cause you just gotta know what happened to her dad.
Graphics
Visually, it’s got a smooth, artsy 2D style. The mansion and its surroundings are really detailed, with a gloomy gothic look — lots of dark colors and eerie lighting that add to the creepy atmosphere. The character designs, especially the ghosts, are super memorable and match their sad backstories perfectly. It’s not some next-gen graphics fest, but the hand-drawn style totally works for the vibe it’s going for.
Level Design
Level-wise, it’s pretty linear but packed with puzzles that make you backtrack and explore every corner of the mansion. The areas aren’t huge, but there’s enough going on — hidden stuff, ghosts to chat with, and puzzles that sometimes need you to return to a spot with a new item. It keeps you moving without ever feeling lost.
Genre
This one’s in the puzzle-adventure lane, with some light horror — nothing too intense. It’s all about the story, the atmosphere, and chatting with spirits. So if you’re into narrative-heavy, moody games over jump scares and monster chases, this’ll totally be your thing.
Difficulty
It’s not too tough. Most of the puzzles are pretty logical, and if you explore properly and pay attention, you’ll figure them out. There’s no combat at all, so the game’s pretty chill overall. Some puzzles do need a sharp eye and some trial and error, but nothing frustrating.
